Tyrolia Power Brake² Race Pro A - 130mm
92
The PowerBrake² has an even better retraction path. Previous Power Brake models pulled in 7.5 mm (total 15 mm) on each side. The new Power Brake², on the other hand, creates 22.5 mm per side (45 mm in total)
Tyrolia was at the fore in the development of retractable ski brakes. With the 360R, Tyrolia revolutionized ski racing in the early 80s. But it is not the time to stop at the past, rest on achievements and celebrate the successes of the past. Tyrolia thinks further, develops further, creates innovations - the result: Power Brake². Brake pins that brush against the snow while driving? Brake arbors that jerkily stop the perfect backside landing? Brakes that are too wide for the ski?
- The Schwechat company was founded in 1847 as Wiener Metallwaren, Schnallen und Maschinenfabrik Ges.mbH. The first ski binding was made in 1928. Industrial production began ten years later. In 1949 the first binding was produced under the Tyrolia brand. The following decades were followed by many significant developments in the alpine ski binding sector, which made ski bindings the highly technical product that is known in skiing today. Tyrolia has dedicated itself specifically to Active Safety as its core property. Unique safety features such as the exclusive Tyrolia ABS anti-lock braking system offer optimal protection for every skier.
